At the Nkonki Integrated Awards to day I lay claim to this original quote and copyright it:
Quote – "Integrated reporting is serious business. Integrated reporting is a response to the fragmented delivery of financial information. It is about the company telling a story which has a complicated plot – How is it going to stay in business in the foreseeable and long term future. In order for the reader to understand the story the writer needs to link each aspect of the plot and how they relate to each other. Each event in the story cannot be seen in isolation as the plot will not make sense. There needs to be a merging of each element of the plot in order for the full story to be understood. Integrated reporting is a story."
